New Kids On The Block Are Dirty Dancing

New Kids on the Block are back in action with their new single "Dirty Dancing". This song is actually pretty hot and fits the hip hop stream a little better than "Summertime". Although the song is rockin, the video....uhh... not so much. I got somewhat confused with the German at the beginning and the Medieval Times setting (and New Kids' OUTFITS....what the hell!?), but I'm only hoping they're making fun of themselves on this one. I'm Chillin

So I just handed in my last essay of my undergrad career and wanted to celebrate with a little song called "I'm Chillin" by The Game. I thought it would be appropriate since I have a week left to study for my final exam and decided to take a little break today. So for now, I'm just chillin like a villain to... "I'm Chillin" (lame and redundant I know... but I still love it!)

Kiss Soulja Boy Through the Phone

I think this has to be my favourite song from Soulja Boy. Doin' it a little differently than "Ya Trick Ya" (umm what the hell was that?!), I think these soulja boys are on the right track with "Kiss Me Thru the Phone". Below is their single, but for some reason YouTube wouldn't allow me to post the actual video.... but here it is homies!

Asher Roth Loves College

Asher Roth is my new home boy, and his song came out just in time for me. I'm thinking what most people are probably thinking too... "Do I really have to graduate or can I just stay here for the rest of my life?" Man, university is the best time of my life and I want to live it up forever... at least I'm going to grad school next year!

BEP Comes Back With Boom Boom Pow

It's about time I heard from the Black Eyed Peas! Boom Boom Pow is a pretty sweet song and kind of reminds of me of the song "Be" by Steve Angello and Laidback Luke with what sounds like techno at the beginning. So glad BEP came back hard and with a killer beat!

Nina Sky on BS

Here are two lovely ladies that we haven't heard from in a while! Nina Sky has released a new single called "On some Bull Sh*t". I wouldn't say they're up to their usual reggae/reggaeton/RnB beats, but more of a mix between Hip Hop and K-Os's "Sunday Morning" song. I like their sound though... get it girls!

Pitbull and Pharrell Go "Blanco"

"Blanco" is another upbeat reggaeton beat of Pitbull's with a bit of Pharrell Williams to add into the mix on the Fast and Furious 4 soundtrack. I don't think I like it as much as Pitbull's "Calle Ocho", but it definitely has potential (and once I hear that spanish beat it starts to grow on me a little!)

"Obsessed" with Beyonce

I am SO excited for Beyonce's new movie "Obsessed" to be released this Spring. The story is about a temp worker Lisa (Ali Larter) who stalks the asset manager of her work, Derek (Idris Elba). When push comes to shove, the gloves come off and Beth (Beyonce Knowles) will do anything she can to protect her family from Lisa, who will do anything she can to get Beyonce's husband. Ooh la la I love this story line!

The movie will be executive produced by Beyonce and Matthew Knowles, a father-daughter collabo!
